Affordable high quality large format CCD scanners, featuring 1200dpi optical resolution CCD¿s that are ideal for fast reliable performance every time. The Gx 42M series scanner captures wide dynamic range of b&w photos & CAD drawings at speeds up to 6 ips.
These 42¿ scanners will also capture accurately the finest details in maps, engineering drawings, blueprints, site plans, architectural renderings and many other technical documents in monochrome or grayscale at resolutions from 100 up to 9600dpi. Original images can be captured from media starting with 6¿ up to 48¿ wide by any length.
The imaging system at the heart of the Gx 42 consists of five, ultra-compact, digital CCD camera units (DCUs). Each DCU is capable of scanning images at 1200 x 600dpi optical input resolution (max 600 x 600dpi optical output by the scanner) and capture 16-bit pan-chromatic monochrome data. The CCDs have a total of 216,000 pixels in the scanner.
